Crying he asked me (fandangos de Huelva)
Camarón with Paco de Lucía: «Detrás del tuyo se va»
It was the year 1969 when the album by Camarón de la Isla and Paco de Lucía titled “Detrás del tuyo se va” appeared.
It included songs such as: “That a brave bull dies” (tientos), “Al verte las flores lloran” (bulerías), “Detrás del tuyo se van” (tangos from Extremadura), “I lay down on a stone” (fandangos) and “Llorando me lo pedía” (fandangos de Huelva), among others.

Score with chord symbols showing the song’s harmony and falsetas
Years where Camarón and Paco were in full youth, brimming with new and innovative ideas, which gave flamenco a new dimension unknown until then. Recordings for the history of flamenco, the kind that form an immaterial part of humanity.
This transcription reflects the harmony with which Paco accompanies the fandango “Por Dios que la respectara” (0:47”) and that is valid for the other two groups of fandangos: “Y la indignó” (1:30) and “La hice pecar y pecó” (2:13).
I leave you in this transcription the chords with which Paco accompanies Camarón. I also recreate a guitar passage (2:03) where Paco de Lucía, our “Infinito Paco”, embroiders the toque por Huelva, on this same song, contributing resources that are already part of the common collective of all flamenco guitarists.

The sheet music with the harmonic coding of the chords and falsetas of this theme is available for all those who are interested in learning the accompaniment or the falsetas of this theme. Write to us and we will send it to you for free.
